How to view and manage documents

The Documents area gathers all files sent for signature within the platform.

This feature allows you to view, organize, and reuse documents when creating new envelopes.


Who can view the documents

Access to documents varies depending on the user type:

  • Regular user: can view only their own documents
  • Company administrator: can view all company documents, including their own

1. In the sidebar menu, locate the Documents option.

2. Click to access the page.

Viewing documents

When accessing the page, you will see a list of available documents.

  • Administrators can view company documents
  • Regular users can view only their own documents

Available features

On the documents page, you can use the following features:

  • Use the search bar to find documents by name

Layout change

  • Switch between grid and table views

Filters

  • Filter documents by period

Sorting

You can sort documents by:

  • Identifier
  • Document name
  • User
  • Creation date

You can also choose the order:

  • Ascending (ASC)
  • Descending (DESC)

Actions available for a document

When you click on a document, a window with action options will be displayed:

View document

When selecting the View document option, the file content will be displayed for review.

This allows you to check the document before using it in an envelope.

Create an envelope from a document

You can also use an existing document to create a new envelope.

1. Click on a document
2. Select the Create envelope option

You will be redirected to the Envelope Creation step.

3. Fill in the required information
4. Proceed to the Envelope Details step

The selected document will already be automatically attached.

Important notes

  • You will only see documents you have permission to access
  • Documents can be reused when creating new envelopes
  • Administrators have extended access to company documents
