Using Assin as an individual
Assin has two account types: individual (PF), for people who sign and send documents on their own behalf, and legal entity (PJ), for companies. In Profile you see your account type (“Individual”). This article shows what changes for the PF account. For the company side, see Using Assin as a company.
The person who signs a document (the signer) has the same experience whether PF or PJ: the link received opens the signing page with no account needed. See How to sign an envelope?.
What the PF account has
In the side menu of a PF account you find:
- Home, Created Envelopes and Received Envelopes: creating, sending, following and signing works the same. See Envelope creation and Managing your envelopes.
- Documents: opens My Documents (in a company it opens the company documents). See How to view and manage documents.
- Plans and Invoices: your personal plans and charges. The avatar menu shows Plans, Subscription Management and My invoices. See Change plan, Invoices and Buy additional credits.
- Contacts, Signer Groups, Verify document, Support and Folders. See Contact Management, Signer groups, Verify the authenticity of a document, Support and Folders.
- Profile through the avatar: personal data, password, two-step verification and your signature and initials. See Account security.
- Affiliates: only shown to those with the affiliate role, with Dashboard, Transfer and Track withdrawal. See Affiliate program.
What is only for companies (PJ)
These items are not available to the PF account:
- Collaborators and team permissions: Collaborators and permissions.
- Company Dashboard and Reports: Company dashboard and Reports.
- Batch Signing (batches and Markers): Batch signing.
- Templates: the item does not appear in the PF account menu. See Create templates.
- Integrations (API Keys and Webhook): API Keys and Webhooks.
- Switch company, Company plans, Company invoices and the company contact list.
Credits and notifications
The envelope and notification credits shown in the top bar are those of your personal account (in a company, they are the company’s). The usage rules are the same: see Credits and Difference between credit and notification credit. The ICP-Brasil signing option, when creating the envelope, is only blocked for companies without ICP enabled; on the PF account it follows the plan and credit rules.
