What is blockchain at Assin?
At Assin, every envelope uses blockchain technology. It works like a stamp that proves the document existed at that moment and that it was not altered after signing.
How it works
1. When the last signer signs, the platform generates a fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) of the document. If any detail of the file changes, the hash changes.
2. This hash is registered in a transaction on the blockchain network (BSC), publicly and immutably, and the platform keeps the transaction code.
3. The final PDF receives a page with the blockchain information and the signature evidence trail. Meanwhile, the envelope appears as Processing and then Completed. See Envelope signature status.
How to check
Anyone can check authenticity in Verify document, entering the envelope ID, the document ID or the transaction hash. See Verify the authenticity of a document.
And ICP-Brasil?
Blockchain is standard in every envelope and consumes 1 credit per document. The ICP-Brasil certificate is optional and adds a signature with a digital certificate, consuming additional credits. See What is ICP-Brasil? and Credits.
